Symbol Recognition
Vectorization and Symbol recognition are altogether different methods. Vectorization traces a line in the middle of pixel traces and smooths it into a few iterations.
Symbol recognition uses artificial intelligence methods to recognize what kind of symbol is presented in a detected part of a raster picture.
Print2CAD offers following artificial intelligence recognition methods:
- Recognition of right corners
- Recognition of small circles
- Recognition of frames and rectangles
- Recognition of small crosses
- Recognition of small dashes
Important!
These methods are very CPU intensive. You'll need a fast computer for it.
